Magento Developer

LEVALTO is looking for a Magento 2 Developer to join our technical team in Antwerp. We work with well-known international clients across various sectors, building high-performance e-commerce platforms using Magento Open Source, enriched by complex integrations (ERP, PIM, shipping, analytics...). Full-time Antwerp

What you’ll do

  • Build and customize Magento 2 webshops with a focus on performance and scalability
  • Develop and maintain custom modules and business logic
  • Participate in system architecture, technical specifications, code reviews, and testing strategies
  • Integrate third-party services (ERP, PIM, GTM, Channable, Sendcloud, etc.) via APIs
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, colleague developers, and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of our internal development standards and delivery processes

What you bring

  • 5+ years of professional PHP development experience
  • 3+ years of experience specifically with Magento 2
  • Strong understanding of Git workflows and advanced version control practices
  • Experience with Tailwind CSS in production (Hÿvä is a strong plus, not a must)
  • You have worked with Symfony components
  • Solid skills in backend architecture, custom module development, and Magento APIs (REST/GraphQL)
  • Knowledge of frontend stack (HTML/CSS/JS) and understanding of Magento theming
  • Knowledge of security (offensive and defensive)
  • Strong sense of responsibility, code quality, and performance
  • Fluent in English; Dutch or French is a strong plus
  • You’re autonomous, analytical, and eager to improve both tech and process

Nice to have: Hyvä, AlpineJs, Google-Tag-Manager, n8n, Figma, Jira, Clickup, Asana, Elasticsearch, Redis, Varnish, Cloudflare
